Anaka Lysne continues to progress through her NCAA golf career

Former Wahpeton Lady Huskies standout and 2022 North Dakota Ms. Golf award recipient, Anaka Lysne, became the first University of Minnesota Crookston women’s golfer to earn all-conference honors when she was selected to the NSIC All-Conference Second Team this spring.

In addition to Lysne’s athletic accomplishments, she was one of 51 women’s golfers named to the 2024 spring all-academic team, and made the UMC Chancellor’s List with a 4.0 GPA.

Lysne was named three times to the All-Eastern Dakota Conference team during her Wahpeton career, finished with the top scoring average in the EDC at 78.3 and was named the Class A Senior Athlete of the Year. She placed fourth at the state tournament as a senior.

During her 2023-24 season with the Golden Eagles, Lysne had a 79 stroke average with one top-five finish and two top-10 finishes.
