Trailing 3-0 entering the bottom of the seventh, Breckenridge rallied to put four runs on the board for a 4-3 walk-off win against Staples-Motley on Tuesday.

Gavin Hoffert delivered the game-winning hit, smacking a two-run single between the first and second basemen. Breckenridge got their first run off a pinch-hit double from Paul Armitage to score Logan Church. Gabe Armitage scored on a wild pitch to set up the Hoffert heroics.

Church went the distance on the hill, holding the Cardinals to four hits. All three of the Staples runs came in the top of the sixth when the visitors capitalized on a pair of Breckenridge errors.

The 3-7 Breckenridge squad moves on to play a pair of games on the road against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Thursday.
