The Minnesota Timberwolves held off the Phoenix Suns, 105-93, to claim a 2-0 lead in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs on Tuesday.

Defensive specialist Jaden McDaniels proved he isn’t a one-trick pony by spearheading the offensive attack with 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting. Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert scored 18 points each on a night where Anthony Edwards was held to 15.

Devin Booker led the Suns with 20 points and Kevin Durant added 18. The Timberwolves will travel to Phoenix for game three Friday night.
