NDSCS men’s basketball player Calvin Sisk signed his letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic careers at NCAA Division II Central Washington University.
“I’m very grateful to get the opportunity to play for Coach Rinta and his staff,” Sisk said. “They treated me like family on my visit and I felt it was the perfect place for me.”
Sisk, originally from Buffalo, Minnesota, spent two seasons at Minot State University. He transferred to NDSCS where he finished first in field goal percentage, fifth in rebounds per game and fourth in total rebounds in the Mon-Dak Conference. He averaged 11.8 points per game on 62.1 percent shooting and grabbed 7.2 rebounds a game.
“Calvin was a big part of our success this season, he has improved tremendously since he arrived on campus,” NDSCS head coach Stu Engen said. “He works hard both on the floor as well as on his academics. I am really excited for him and this opportunity.”
