The Breckenridge track and field program competed at the Anderson-Cole Invite on Friday in Perham, Minnesota. Cowgirls senior Hailee Hanson won the 100-meter dash with a personal record of 13.93 seconds. Sophomore thrower Elsie Lauritsen impressed in the discus with a winning throw of 93’4”.

Cowboys senior Bailey Evans was fourth in the 100-meter dash and shot put with a time of 12.26 seconds and a throw of 40’8”. Fellow senior Brian Martinez placed fourth in the discus with a throw of 112’7”. 

Perennial section contender Jacob Kunkel won his marquee event, high jump, by leaping at a height of 6-feet. On the girls side, Mariah Koltes was runner-up with a high jump of 4’10”.

Other top-three finishers included David Erlandson, pole vault, and Chasity Hanson, 100-meter dash.
