MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Wahpeton Huskie Thinclads returned to Concordia for their second indoor meet of the 2024 season. Against good competition, the Huskies turned in many solid performances.

Highlights included both the boys and girls 4×400 relay teams claiming first place.

The girls team consisted of Jaida Fobb, Leah DeVries, Lucie Comstock and Gracie Falck, who ran a time of 4:28.92. The boys clocked a time of 3:46.08 with Noah Berge, Jackson DeVries, Carter Hockert and JD Gomez.

Fobb won the 400-meter dash in 1:02.28 and Falck won the 800 meter in 2:43.04, followed by Comstock, at 2:45.45. The Wahpeton girls, led by Scout Woods, dominated the shot put. Woods won with a toss of 39’ 2 ½”, Galyha Lopez-Lee (32’06”), Claire Woods (31’ 2 ½”) and Ashlyn Kahler (30’ 04 ½”), finished third, fourth and sixth, respectively.

4×200 Relay – Cayden Barth, Matthew Petersen, Aiden Bontjes, Braxton Mikkelson, 7th (1:49.66)

High Jump – Jackson DeVries, 4th (5′ 8″), Treyton Mauch, 8th (5′ 4″)

Long Jump – Treyton Mauch, 2nd (19′ 6.75″), Evan Dockter, 8th (17′ 5.5″)
