The No. 2 seed Wahpeton Huskies played their way into the Division A, Region I semifinals with a 63-36 victory over No. 7 seed Oak Grove on Monday at the Scheels Center in Fargo. 

Wahpeton was led in scoring by 17 from Jayden King, Cooper Klosterman with 11, Brayden Steffens with 10 and Bjorn Kubela with 9.

Sophomore forward Landon Ralph added seven points and eighth grade guard Jack Gilbertson scored five, as the Huskies continue to become a deeper, more dangerous team.

The Huskies will face Valley City on Tuesday in a rubber match of the season series between former Eastern Dakota Conference foes. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Scheels Arena. B.J. Walters will have the call on AM 1450 KBMW.
