The North Dakota State College of Science basketball teams picked up a big sweep against Williston State College on Tuesday at home. 

The Lady Wildcats were the underdogs against the Tetons, but came away with a 70-60 victory against the top team in their region. 

Savanna Jones didn’t leave the floor in a 25-point effort for NDSCS.

Wahpeton native McKena Koolmo stuffed the stat sheet with 10 points, seven assists and six rebounds. 

The Wildcat men improved to 28-1 with a 91-63 beatdown of the Tetons. 

Calvin Sisk and Kaleb Larson each had 14 points, but Peyton Newbern was the star of the show in the NDSCS victory. The sophomore guard had 13 points, eight assists, six rebounds and an eye-popping seven steals. 

Next up for the NDSCS teams is their regular season finale on the road against United Tribes. Both games can be heard on B92.7 with the women playing first at 1 p.m.
