
The Concordia Cobbers men’s basketball team dropped a 92-88 home game to MIAC Conference rival Macalester on Wednesday, Jan. 24. Former Breckenridge and North Dakota State College of Science standout Noah Christensen played 25 minutes and provided 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists. The scoring and assist outputs marked new season highs for the 6-foot-10 forward.
Concordia is now 10-7 and 6-6 in MIAC play.
The Concordia women dominated Macalester on Wednesday by a score of 79-46. Former Wahpeton Huskies standout Jordyn Kahler contributed seven points and three rebounds. Kahler, a senior guard/forward, has started all 16 contests this season, recording 1.2 steals per game and shooting 84 percent from the free-throw line.
The Cobber women are 13-3 (12-1 MIAC) and winners of six straight.
