The Wahpeton boys basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 69-62 home victory against Lisbon Tuesday night.
It was the first region victory for the Huskies.
Brayden Steffens went for 20 and Cooper Klosterman knocked down five triples on his way to 17 points. Jayden King also hit double figures with 13.
Wahpeton capitalized on 25 Lisbon turnovers in the victory.
The 2-0 Huskies won’t play again until Saturday, Dec. 30 when they host Fargo Shanley at 1:30 p.m.
