(ND Ag Connection) – The much-anticipated Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase is set to return to the Fargo Scheels Arena on November 17-18. This event, a highlight for holiday shoppers, will host more than 140 companies, all showcasing their North Dakota-made products. Items ranging from gourmet food, wine, spirits, books, jewelry, and more will be available for purchase.

Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring underscores the showcase’s diverse selection, offering something for everyone. The event’s schedule runs from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. In addition to free admission, visitors will enjoy complimentary shopping bags sponsored by the Bank of North Dakota College SAVE Plan, along with free parking.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, a real bearded Santa will be present for photo opportunities. His visiting hours are from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, with breaks to care for his reindeer.

Retail stores are also encouraged to attend, presenting an opportunity to sample products before placing wholesale orders. This event is not just a shopping experience but also a platform for retailers to form business relationships with local vendors.

Details about the participating companies and their locations within the event can be found on the official Pride of Dakota website. Another Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase is scheduled for December 1-2 at the Bismarck Event Center.

The Pride of Dakota program, run by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, supports local businesses through marketing and promotional events, educational opportunities, and exposure at various marketing expositions. Currently, over 500 companies are proud members of this program, demonstrating the strength and diversity of North Dakota’s entrepreneurial spirit.
