NJCAA Region 13 has announced its All-Region 13 Football Team for the 2023 season on Friday, November 10th, with five North Dakota State College of Science Wildcats named to the team. Trevion Carothers, Roosevelt Cage, Erik Lumpkin, Clark Nelson and Dawson Hageman were all named to the All Region team.

Freshmen Trevion Carothers was one of only eight freshmen that made the 24 player list. Carothers lead the team in catches (30), yards (783) and touchdowns (9) while also suiting up for all 11 of the Wildcat games. Carothers had his season best 133 yards and a touchdown against Minnesota West Community & Technical College in the beginning of the season, one of his two 120+ yard games.

Running back Roosevelt Cage was a one man wrecking crew for NDSCS, rushing for 1068 yards and a team high 12 touchdowns. The sophomore rushed for 211 yards and a touchdown during the Wildcat’s regular season showdown against Minnesota North College-Mesabi Range. Cage also rushed for 122 yards in NDSCS’ playoff loss to Rochester Community and Technical College.

Sophomore Linebacker Erik Lumpkin had his second great season for the Wildcats, leading the team in tackles (69)  and collecting five sacks on the season. Lumpkin finishes his career with 145 tackles, 12 sacks and two interceptions.

Sophomores Clark Nelson and Offensive Lineman Dawson Hageman both helped the Wildcats make it back to the MCAC Championship for the second straight season.

Johnathan Mosley, quarterback for Minnesota North College – Mesabi Range, was named the Region 13 Offensive Player-of-the-Year, and Rochester Community & Technical College linebacker, Martell Williams, was named the Region 13 Defensive Player-of-the-Year. Rochester Community & Technical College head coach, Terrence Isaac, was named the Region 13 Coach of the Year.
