Breckenridge extended its Border Battle volleyball streak to 10 years with a home sweep of Wahpeton on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-15 and 25-21.

The win streak is currently nine matches in a row as the Twin Town teams didn’t square off in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Breckenridge had a balanced offensive attack once again with Erin Blaufuss logging eight kills and Hailee Hanson following with six.

Katlyn Kaehler had four aces for the Cowgirls and she also finished with 16 digs, second on the team to Sydni Roberts’ 21.

Parker Yaggie had 15 assists for BHS and Kolle Schuler did her part setting up 10 kills.

The Cowgirls followed up the win by traveling to Pelican Rapids for a Thursday match, taking home a five-set victory by scores of 25-17, 22-25, 19-25, 25-19 and 15-11.

Two Cowgirls hit double-digit kills with Julia Kleisman spiking 12 and Kaehler following with 10.

Kleisman and Roberts each had theee aces.

Roberts finished with 32 digs and Yaggie had 26.

Breckenridge heads to New York Mills for a 7:30 p.m. Tuesday battle.
