The Breckenridge Cowgirls volleyball team opened their season with a road sweep in Hancock on Tuesday by scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-19.
Erin Blaufuss and Hailee Hanson each had nine kills to pace Breck while Blaufuss also led the blocking effort with three solo and two assists.
Parker Yaggie had 16 assists and libero Sydni Roberts ended the night with 17 digs.
The Cowgirls look to avenge last year’s playoff loss to the Henning Hornets in their first home match at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
