The Wahpeton Huskies golf team teed off the first day of the annual East-West Classic in Jamestown on Monday.

Wahpeton shot 352, good enough for fifth place out of 20 teams.

Halle Miller and Olivia Hansen each shot 86 to pace the Huskies.

Scout Woods bounced back and shaved 16 strokes off her first meet score for an 89 on the day.

London Nordick shot 91, Claire Langenwalter finished with a 95 and Ella Graves was right behind with 96.

Wahpeton completes the meet today starting at 8 a.m.
