Wahpeton Post 20’s 6-3 win over Casselton on Monday means they enter today’s State Championship Game with Kindred undefeated.

Wahpeton needs to win one game to be crowned champions and if they lose to Kindred the pair of teams will play again to determine the state champion.

Post 20 jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held off the Haymakers’ late surge.

Braxton Pauly threw all seven innings for Wahpeton. All three of the runs were earned off eight hits. He struck out two batters.

Caden Kappes, Josiah Hofman and Jayden King each had two hits. Kappes scored a run and plated a run, Hofman drove in two runs and King scored twice while also tacking on an RBI.

First pitch with Kindred is set for noon on B92.7. The pregame show is set for 11:45 a.m.
