Breckenridge Post 53 found themselves in a high-scoring game for the second night in a row as they picked up a 13-8 win in eight innings on the road against Ashby on Tuesday.

Breckenridge scored five runs in the extra inning with every hitter in the batting order either scoring a run or driving in an RBI.

Zane Mikkelson had the biggest hit of the day, tying it up with a two-run double in the top of the seventh.

Trey Vogelbacher got the win on the hill in relief, striking out four batters in three innings while not giving up any earned runs.

Cam Nieto scored three runs in a 3-5 performance.

Gavin Snyder and Alex Sanchez each had a pair of hits. Snyder plated three runs while Sanchez got home three times and also drove in a run.

Breckenridge is 2-0 to start the season.
