
The Breckenridge Bucks amateur team fell to the Fergus Falls Canes on Sunday by a score of 2-1.
Both teams had only one error with Mitch Porter throwing all eight innings for Breckenridge, giving up five hits and striking out 11 batters.
The Bucks were only able to muster four hits of their own. Jack Hiedeman led the way offensively with two of the hits. Tommy Hiedeman had a single and the only RBI and Brayden Wahl had a double.
Fergus was able to pick up one of their 5 hits at just the right time in the bottom of the 7th that scored the winning run.
The Bucks have another road game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Dilworth.
