The No. 21 North Dakota State College of Science Lady Wildcats came from behind to upset No. 12 Eastern Arizona College 72-66 at the NJCAA National Basketball Tournament in Lubbock, Texas.

NDSCS trailed by as many as 13 in the Wednesday night game and outscored their foes 20-9 in the fourth quarter to give the school its first win at the National Tournament.

Arianna Berryhill went for a game-high 24 points to lead the Wildcats, knocking down 10 of her 14 free throw tries. She also had a team-high four steals.

Three other Wildcats were in double figures in the historic win. Charita “Tiny” Lewis had 14, Ivy Fox followed with 12 and Quinn Neppl chipped in with 11.

Wildcat post Malie Hunt was the leading rebounder in the game with 11.

The Wildcats continue the March Madness against Blinn, Texas, at 3 p.m. Friday.
