
The Breckenridge-Wahpeton Blade girls had their season come to an end in the Section 6A Semifinals with a 9-0 road loss to top-seeded Fergus Falls on Thursday.
The Otters outshot the Blades 31-5, holding BW to one shot on net in two separate periods.
Kolle Schuler had 22 saves for the Blades.
They end their first Minnesota State High School League season with a record of 8-10. The season was highlighted by a 6-3 win over Northern Lakes in their playoff opener for their first ever MSHSL postseason victory.
Reagan Wohlers ends the year as the team’s leader in goals and assists. The senior racked up a whopping 59 points, 42 of them coming off goals.
Kennedy Schuler was second on the team in points with 27 (16 goals, 11 assists) and Alison Hoerer followed with 22 (eight goals, 14 assists).
Kolle Schuler picked up eight wins in net this season with three shutouts for BW.
