The Breckenridge Cowgirls took a two-point lead into halftime but couldn’t slow down the Barnesville Trojans in the second half of their 62-53 road loss on Friday.
Freshman guard Johnica Bernotas led the Cowgirls with 20 points.
Parker Yaggie followed with a dozen in the defeat.
Next up for the Cowgirls is a Tuesday home game against Park Christian.
