The Breckenridge Cowboys missed a shot at the buzzer to force overtime in a 69-67 road loss to the Battle Lake Battlers on Tuesday.

Daymon Smith had an identical game scoring to the season opener, scoring 14 points with 12 of them coming from 3-point land.

Alex Sanchez ended the night with 13 points and five steals. Landon Blaufuss followed with 11 to go along with nine rebounds and three blocks.

The Cowboys shot 17-33 from the free-throw line in the loss.

Breckenridge gets a week off before they head to Wheaton for a 7:30 p.m. game on Tuesday.
