At approximately 8:50am this morning (Tuesday) the Richland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle crash on an overhead on ND Highway 13 in Wyndmere. A 2005 Dodge caravan driven by Cordell Kracht (age 54) from Gwinner was driving eastbound directly behind a snow plow. A 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Sadie Siemieniewski (age 36) from Geneseo was directly behind the 2005 Dodge Caravan, also traveling eastbound. The snow plow created snow fog with caused Kracht to slow down. Siemieniewski rear ended Kracht’s vehicle. Kracht’s vehicle then collided with the bridge support. Kracht and his passenger Connie Kracht (age 82) also from Gwinner were transported to a Fargo Hospital for treatment of injuries. Weather was a contributing factor in the crash. Responding agencies were Wyndmere-Barney Ambulance, Wyndmere Fire Department, the North Dakota Highway Patrol and the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.
