The Salvation Army is ramping up for the holiday season and are looking for volunteers to ring the bell for the Red Kettle Campaign. Funds collected in Richland/Wilkin Counties stay in Richland/Wilkin Counties.

Bell ringers would set up at the three local grocery stores and there’s a certain phone number to call to volunteer at all of them. Volunteers wanting to ring the bell at Wal-Mart in Wahpeton can call Brett Lambrecht, 701-899-6452. The contact for Econofoods in Wahpeton is Jean Freden, 701-640-1641. Those wanting to ring the bell at the Breckenridge Econofoods can call Shirley Fox-Trydahl, 701-403-9549.

Another phone number to call to volunteer is the Richland County Veterans Service Office, 701-642-7807.
