A woman charged with trying to rob Lincoln State Bank in Wyndmere pleaded guilty in a federal court in Fargo this week.

The alleged robbery took place July 19 of last year as 44-year-old Tessa Ann Marie Jaksa faces up to 20 years in prison and up to a fine of $250,000. The sentencing date has not yet been determined.

Reports say Jaksa entered the bank with a hangun and demanded the teller give her the money. The teller complied, giving Jaksa $7,147. She then fled the bank and returned to her home in Moorhead.

The arrest was reported the next day as she was detained with the help of the FBI following a tip from someone who recognized Jaksa in the photos released from the incident.
