Breckenridge Public Schools has hired Kristie Sullivan as its next superintendent.

Sullivan has spent 17 years in education and taught English at Breckenridge High School early on in her career. Most recently, Sullivan was assistant principal and curriculum director in Fergus Falls.

Following a unanimous vote, the school board decided to move into negotiations with Sullivan for a three-year contract.
