The Richland County Board of Commissioners voted to support a natural gas pipeline in Richland County.

The 4-0 vote was to endorse the “Wahpeton Expansion Project” proposed by WBI Energy. The pipeline would travel from Mapleton to Wahpeton. WBI Energy and Montana-Dakota Utilities Company would build the pipeline and its construction would be operational by the end of 2024.
