At Monday’s meeting, Breckenridge City Council members got a chance to meet the new North Dakota State College of Science President Dr. Rod Flanigan.
Flanigan said he has been in town for about three weeks. The introduction as served as a chance for the President to extend invitation to an NDSCS event happening Aug. 21.
The event will be welcoming students back to the campus from 4-8 p.m. that Sunday and everyone in the Breckenridge community is invited. Flanigan wasn’t able to give ever detail yet as the logistics are still being worked out.
He also mentioned getting local businesses involved by having them set up booths during the event.
