The Wahpeton Police Department is asking for the public’s help as they investigate the theft of a mower that was stolen from Schmitty’s Plumbing and Heating in Wahpeton over the weekend.
The John Deere mower is a zero-turn model Z645.
The two males in the surveillance video were in a GMC 1500 crew cab pickup ranging from the year 2007-2013 on Saturday at approximately 4:16 p.m.
The mower was loaded on to a single-axle utility trailer that was pulled by the GMC pickup.
Distinctive features on the pickup include a broken vent wing on the front passenger side and the molding on the right rear passenger side is broken. There’s also extra chrome trim along the bottom of the doors with chrome wheel wells missing on the rear of the pickup.
