A high-speed pursuit came to an end when a driver was arrested near Moorhead after being chased through Clay and Wilkin counties.
The pursuit took place on I-94 Wednesday morning and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and ended near mile marker 27 before 11 a.m.
The driver, 41-year-old Jess Miller, was speeding and refused to stop. He exited onto Highway 108 in Wilkin County and then turned around to head west on I-94. Stop sticks were used by officers to flatten all of the tires to slow down the vehicle and Miller lost control of the vehicle going 70-75 MPH according to the sheriff’s office.
The vehicle crashed into cable barriers two miles outside of Moorhead. Miller has been charged with fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, a felony. He is currently in Clay County Jail.
