The Rothsay school was evacuated on Wednesday after the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible bomb threat.
The report came in at 12:26 p.m. with students and faculty being sent home for the remainder of the school day shortly after. The school was searched and nothing was located.
Along with the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office, Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol and Rothsay Fire and Rescue assisted. The incident is pending further investigation.
