A 44-year-old man was injured in a one-vehicle crash on Monday morning three miles south of Fairmount.

The crash took place three miles south of Highway 11 on County Road 127 at around 9:29 a.m.

Richland County Sheriff’s deputies, Fairmount First Responders and Breckenridge Ambulance responded to the scene and the man was transported to St. Francis Medical Center with what appear to be mild injuries.

Alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash and the incident remains under investigation.
