A meeting was held Tuesday with five of the six Richland County candidates for Senate and the House of Representatives sharing platforms.

Republicans running include incumbent Sen. Larry Luick who is running for the state house, Sen. Jason Heitkamp, incumbent Rep. Cynthia Schreiber-Beck and Rep. Kathy Skroch. The primary will likely determine which two of Heitkamp, Schreiber-Beck and Skroch will run in the general election with Luick.

The Democratic-Nonpartisan candidates running for the state House include former Sen. Jim Dotzenrod and incumbent Rep. Alisa Mitskog.

The North Dakota primary is on June 14 and the general election is on Nov. 8.
