Breckenridge High School went into a soft lockdown on Thursday after an altercation between multiple students.
The Wilkin County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that the soft lockdown took place and said the staff had the situation under control when they arrived.
Soft lockdowns are used for non-major incidents and keeps students from being in the hallway.
No serious injuries were reported but Emergency Medical Services arrived as protocol.
The case is under investigation and it is unknown if they will be charges for any students.
