North Dakota State College of Science has a new president.

Dr. Rod Flanigan was selected by the North Dakota Board of Higher Education to lead the school on Thursday.

The three finalists were interviewed at the Wahpeton campus on Thursday.

Jeanine Gangeness and Carmen Simone joined Flanigan as a finalist. Flanigan succeeds former President John Richman.

Prior to being selected by NDSCS, Flanigan served as the Dean of Business and Technology at Cochise College in Arizona.
