A rollover accident that occurred on Saturday near Breckenridge led to a pair of youth passengers sustaining non-life threatening injuries.
The rollover took place on Highway 210 with 38-year-old Jenny Theresa McQuiston of Wahpeton driving the vehicle. The ice and snowy roads caused the van to spin out and enter the ditch where it overturned according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Along with McQuiston were 18-year-old Skyler McQuiston and three youth. The two youth who sustained injuries were transported to St. Francis Medical Center in Breckenridge.
All of the car’s occupants were wearing seatbelts and alcohol wasn’t a factor.
Responding to the incident were the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Department, Breckenridge Fire Department and Ambulance Service Inc and the Breckenridge Police Department.
