After being postponed due to weather two weeks ago, the Neil E. Heitkamp Youth Ice Fishing Derby is set for Saturday, March 5.
Registration for the derby begins at noon with fishing going from 1-3 p.m.
Adults are asked to accompany youth and anyone 18 and younger is allowed to participate. The event is held at Heitkamp Pond, which is located at 18205 75th St. SE, Wahpeton, just northeast of Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative.
