The Wahpeton Huskie Girls Basketball team lost to West Fargo Sheyenne 78-59 in the first round of the East Region Tournament on Tuesday. The Huskies were able able to keep up in the first half but turnovers and rebounds were the difference makers.
McKena Koolmo was the leading scorer for the Huskies with 16 points. Amya Max was also in double figures with 12.
The Huskies’ next game will be Friday at 3:45 p.m. at the SHAC in Fargo.
