
The Kindred Vikings continued on the road to perfection, taking down the Northern Cass Jaguars 77-46. The Vikings were led by senior Abigail Duchscherer who led all scorers with 26 points. Senior Terryn Johnson added 11 points and sophomore Peyton Gette scored 10 points off the bench.
Northern Cass was never able to figure out the half court press, with Senior Allie Slinger leading the way with 13 points. The 23-0 Vikings have a matchup with Beulah in the Class B State tournament at the Betty Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks on March 3rd.
Central Cass was able to take down the Richland Colts 91-36 on Saturday to claim third place in the Region One Girls Tournament. It was a Senior showcase with Center Jaylin Cotton led the Squirrels with 20 points and Kailey McKinnon knocking down six threes to finish with 18 points. Richland’s Senior Megan Roob exploded in the second half to finish with 25 points.
