Eighteen accident reports were filed by the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday alone due to the two-day blizzard that hit the area.
“Do Not Travel” warnings were issued by the sheriff’s office, but motorists still attempted to drive on Highway 210 and other roads in the county.
The storm piled up 12.5 inches of snow over the two-day span with other eastern parts of the state receiving up to 2 feet of snow.
