
The Wahpeton girls basketball team completed the home doubleheader sweep of Valley City with an 88-75 victory over the Hi-Liners. It was the most points scored in a game by a Wahpeton girls basketball team in school history.
Scout Woods and Emma Bontjes each went over the 20-point mark with 24 and 21, respectively. Lidia Motl had 14 in the win and McKena Koolmo went for a dozen in the team’s offensive explosion.
The 9-10 Huskies have won five of their last seven and move on to host Fargo Shanley at 7:15 p.m. Friday.
