The Neil Heitkamp ice fishing derby will take place this Saturday, February 19th at Heitkamp Pond. Registration is at noon with the derby running from 1:00 till 3:00. Last years event drew over 300 kids to the pond.  Red River Area Sportsmen’s Club member Greg Gerou told KBMW’s Bill Dablow on the morning about the event.
