NDSCS Women and Men Win On the Road

The North Dakota State College of Science Men and Women’s basketball teams have been on a tear and the winning ways continued as both squads traveled to Lake Region State to face off against the Royals.
The Women won their contest 71-36. The Wildcats were lead by Ambah Kowcun who scored a game high 22 points, going 5-10 behind the arc. Ivane Tensaie chipped in with 15 points and 6 rebounds. NDSCS was able to hold Lake Region to single digit scoring in the second and third quarter to enter the fourth with a 57-23 lead. Tiziana Huici contributed for the Royals scoring 21 points on 8-16 shooting. The Wildcat Women play their next game of their five game road trip on Wednesday against Williston State College Tentons at 5:30pm.
The Men also were able to make quick work of the Royals, winning their game 69-57. Khari Broadway scored 12 points and pulled down 7 rebounds, but it was JaQuan Sanders-Smith coming off the bench again who impressed. The Sophomore guard had 30 points and four assists off the bench connecting on five threes to lead all scorers. The Men play on Wednesday against the Tentons at 7:30pm.
