BW Wrestling Compete In Valley City

BW Storm wrestling competed in the Valley City Holiday Tournament on Saturday, December 18th, finishing ninth as a team in a field chalk full of area heavyweights.
Aidan Ruddy had the best day for the Storm, weighing in at 152 and placing 1st. Ruddy earned his 50th PIN and his 100th career win at the tournament. Other high placing competitors for the Storm were Jackson Burchill who placed second at 220 pounds and Riley Kappes, weighing in at 113 points, and placing fourth.
The Storm’s 79 point performance was good enough to place them squarely in the middle of the pack, ahead of Grand Forks Central (78), Willison (72) and Fargo North (42) but behind tournament champion Bismarck High (183).
