The Breckenridge Cowgirls had the ball with 19 seconds remaining and trailing by one, but couldn’t take the lead in a 46-44 home loss to Underwood on Thursday.
Parker Yaggie had team highs in points and steals with 14 and four, respectively.
Carcie Materi was the only other Cowgirl in double figures as she buried three triples on her way to 11 points.
Addie Twidwell led the rebounding effort with 13 on the night.
Next up for the 2-4 Cowgirls is a 2:30 p.m. Saturday road battle with Minnewaska Area.
