On Tuesday, the BW Storm Gymnastics team traveled to Jamestown to compete in the invitational. The Storm team finished third with 130.95 total points, finshing behind the first place team Jamestown by less than 11 points.
In the Vault, the Storm had three top ten finishers. Hallie Hanson finished third with a 8.65 and Justice Christian recorded at fifth place finish with an 8.55 and Anika Birkelo came in ninth with a 8.3. On the Bars, Abbie Skovholt and Quinn Bassingthwaite were seventh and eighth with a 8.3 and 8.2. The Beam saw Birkelo finish third with a 8.875 and Bassingthwaite come in ninth with an 8.275. Bassingthwaite finished fourth for her floor routine, recording a 9, she was the only Storm competitor to place in the top ten.
Bassingthwaite and Birkelo finished fifth and seventh overall with scores of 33.7 and 33.075.
