The Wahpeton boys basketball team ran into a buzz saw in their season opener, falling to West Fargo Sheyenne by a score of 87-46 in Wahpeton.
Blake Schafer and Caden Hockert hit double figures for the Huskies with 13 and 12, respectively.
Turnovers plagued Wahpeton all night as they finished with 29.
The Huskies are back in action with their first road game of the season at 7:15 p.m. at Fargo Davies.
