The Breckenridge-Wahpeton Storm wrestling team competed in a triangular hosted in Lisbon on Tuesday. BW fell to the host team 61-15 and also dropped their match to Valley City, 48-22.
Alex Martel picked up a 13-9 win by decision against Lisbon at 132 pounds, Aidan Ruddy claimed a forfeit at 152 pounds and Jackson Burchill got the only BW pin of the dual at 220 pounds.
Picking up wins for BW in the Valley City matchup were Weston Jensen at 138 pounds (Dec. 6-3), Ruddy at 152 again (Fall 0:18), Hunter Owens at 160 (Fall 4:29), Burchill at 220 (Dec. 3-2) and Logan Schwartz at 285 (Major Dec. 14-5).
Next up for the Storm is a tournament in Grand Forks on Friday and Saturday.
