The BW Boys Hockey team fell short against the Mayport IceDawgs Tuesday Night 9-0 in a game that was one-sided from the start.

The Blades took center ice and immediately were on the defensive end of the rink for the majority of the first period. Walker McGillis got the scoring started early for Mayport when he was able to score with 2:58 in the first period off an assist by Aaron Johnson. Johnson would assist on four goals in the Mayport win. The second period begin with a 4-0 lead for the IceDawgs. In the second period, BW was able to play more aggressive. The Blades were able to work the puck down the ice and onto the Mayport side of the rink for three shots on goal. In the third period, Mayport tightened the screws, scoring quickly. With an 8-0, the clock ran the entire third period.

The BW Blades were outshot 53-7, extending their scoreless streak to two games.  Next up for the 0-3 BW squad is a game in Park Rapids at 7 p.m.
