The North Dakota State College of Science women held Northland Community & Technical College to single digits in each of the first two quarters on their way to an 80-41 home win on Saturday.

The Pioneers trailed 30-5 at the end of the first quarter and could only muster four more points to make it a 40-9 game at the half.

Ambah Cowcun led the way with 22 points for NDSCS, nailing four triples in the process. She also had six rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Ivane Tensaie had a team-high five 3-pointers on her way to 17 points.

Arthel Massaquoi was also in double figures with 16 along with 11 rebounds to complete the double-double.

Next up for the 10-0 Wildcats is a Friday home game against Bryant & Stratton College in the first day of the Americinn Classic.
